Sự cần thiết của khoáng chất thiết yếu cho sinh trưởng của tôm thẻ chân trắng

Hiện nay, nghề nuôi tôm sú truyền thống ở một số tỉnh ven biển đang gặp khó khăn do tình hình dịch bệnh bùng phát và chưa có biện pháp hữu hiệu để kiểm soát. Một số hộ nuôi tôm đã chuyển sang nuôi đối tượng thủy sản mới đó là tôm thẻ chân trắng với diện tích thâm canh ngày càng tăng.

                                                                        Tôm thẻ bị cong thân, đục cơ  

Thẻ chân trắng có một số ưu điểm nổi bật như: có thể nuôi với mật độ khá cao 60 – 150 con/m2 hoặc cao hơn nữa; do đó sản lượng tôm thu được rất lớn, thời gian nuôi ngắn khoảng 3 tháng; nhưng chi phí đầu tư sản xuất cao, nhu cầu oxy của thẻ rất cao vì vậy phải đầu tư thiết bị đảm bảo cung cấp oxy đầy đủ. Tôm thẻ là đối tượng nuôi mới nên hộ nuôi còn hạn chế về kỹ thuật nuôi, dịch bệnh dễ xảy ra và có thể lây lan trên diện rộng, nuôi theo xu hướng tự phát không theo quy hoạch vùng nuôi,….Do tôm thẻ được nuôi với mật độ khá cao, có tốc độ tăng trưởng nhanh do tôm lột xác liên tục cho nên nhu cầu khoáng chất rất cao. Nếu trong ao có độ mặn thấp hàm lượng Ca, Mg, P, Na, … trong nước thấp tôm hấp thụ khoáng không đủ ảnh hưởng đến sự tăng trưởng làm cho tôm chậm lớn, tôm lột khó cứng vỏ, gây ra hiện tượng đục cơ và cong thân thường thấy trong quá trình nuôi tôm thẻ.

Nguyên nhân tôm thẻ bị đục cơ và cong thân:

– Thiếu khoáng chất cần thiết: Ca, Mg, P, Co, Mn, Na…;
– Sốc nhiệt độ;
– Hàm lượng oxy trong ao thấp;
– Đục cơ do bệnh: do tôm nhiễm virus IMNV (Infectious Myonecrosis Virus).

Hiện tượng đục cơ, cong thân tôm thẻ thường xuất hiện từ lúc tôm 10 ngày tuổi cho đến trưởng thành. Do đó, cần phải xác định chính xác nguyên nhân tôm bị đục cơ, cong thân để có biện pháp phòng ngừa và điều trị phù hợp.

Đối với trường hợp tôm thẻ bị cong thân, đục cơ do thiếu khoáng: vào ban ngày khi nâng sàng ăn khỏi mặt nước ao nuôi một số con nhảy lên và búng mạnh, sau đó phần đuôi uống cong chạm đến phần giáp đầu ngực kèm theo hiện tượng mô cơ chạy dọc theo phần giữa cơ thể tôm trở nên trắng đục. Dùng tay kéo duỗi thân tôm ra nhưng vẫn bị cong và chết. Đó là hiện tượng đục cơ và cong thân do thiếu khoáng.

Cách khắc phục:

– Đảm bảo cung cấp đủ oxy cho tôm;
– Tránh để tôm bị sốc nhiệt độ;
– Khi đã xác định chính xác tôm bị đục cơ, cong thân do thiếu khoáng thì người nuôi cần phải bổ sung khoáng dạng bột với liều lượng 1 kg/1000 m3 nước sẽ khắc phục được hiện tượng này.

Biện pháp phòng ngừa:

– Hạn chế kiểm tra sàng ăn vào lúc trời nắng gắt;
– Máy quạt nước cung cấp đầy đủ oxy cho tôm;
– Bổ sung khoáng bột định kỳ: 5 – 7 ngày tạt 1kg/1000 m3 nước đối với tôm thẻ dưới 45 ngày tuổi; 3 ngày tạt 1 kg/1000 m3 nước đối với tôm thẻ trên 45 ngày tuổi. Đồng thời, kết hợp trộn khoáng nước vào thức ăn định kỳ: 5ml/1kg thức ăn (2 lần/ ngày).

Khoáng chất sử dụng cho động vật thủy sản thường có hai dạng:

– Khoáng nước: là hỗn hợp dung dịch các muối phosphate.
– Khoáng bột: thường là hỗn hợp các hợp chất oxit.

Khoáng chất cung cấp hàm lượng Ca, Mg cần thiết cho quá trình tăng trưởng và sự co cơ của động vật, ngoài ra Mg còn là chất xúc tác cho phản ứng phosphoryl hóa cung cấp năng lượng cho động vật thủy sản. Nếu trong nước thiếu hàm lượng Mg, tôm thẻ dễ bị đục cơ và cong thân, mềm vỏ, tình trạng này kéo dài ảnh hưởng đến sự tăng trưởng và làm chết tôm.

Hiện tượng tôm thẻ mềm vỏ kéo dài, tôm khó lột xác ngoài các yếu tố môi trường nước, còn do thiếu hàm lượng Ca, Mg, P trong nước. Hàm lượng P trong nước rất ít; do đó phải bổ sung định kỳ nhằm hạn chế tình trạng tôm khó lột xác. Khi gặp hiện tượng này, người nuôi cần phải tạt khoáng bột xuống ao với liều lượng 1 kg/1000 m3, kết hợp trộn khoáng nước 10 ml/1 kg thức ăn (2 lần/ ngày) sẽ khắc phục hiện tượng trên.

Trong quá trình nuôi, tôm thẻ chân trắng khoảng 30 – 65 ngày tuổi là giai đoạn tăng trưởng mạnh nhất, nếu thấy tôm tăng trưởng chậm chứng tỏ hàm lượng Ca, Mg trong nước thiếu, không đáp ứng đủ nhu cầu hấp thụ của tôm, cần phải bổ sung khoáng nước bằng cách trộn vào thức ăn với liều lượng 5ml/1 kg thức ăn (2 lần/ ngày).

Tóm lại, trong suốt vụ nuôi tôm thẻ thì cần phải cung cấp khoáng chất đầy đủ nhằm hạn chế hiện tượng tôm thẻ bị đục cơ, cong thân, chậm lớn…
